Asleep on a Lilly

Asleep on a Lillyis no doubt one of my best ever on here. Sadly some of my more better I keep to myself because it's either some type of fanart I want to keep to myself because it was drawn for compleatly for my own entertainment, or for a friends entertainment. Such as this very strange second generation Yugioh picture I did set in ancient egypt. I defenatly think it's better than this, but I don't wanna here all the crap from the Yugioh haters out there or the whiny fan girls that proclaim such and such a pairing or child would/should never be. Such as past Bakura's daughter, or priest Seto's daughter who is compleatly illiagitamet. Or Tea and Yugi's son, who is thrown into the past and into a very odd love triangle. The rest of the characters are mine and my friend [link] Though drawn completely for the purpose of drawing tan Egyptian people cause their skin is fun to color in. Anyway back to this picture. Asleep on a Lilly had a lot of symbolism in it too when I drew it. The child on the lilly is a character of mine who was sickly his whole life and finally passed away and he had loved to watch the frogs on lilly pads and when he was dieing, he gained peace from seeing the giant lilly pad so his spirit crawled onto for peace so he was not at all remoseful when he died. This was all done with colored pencils or both Prisma color and crayola (for I personally have found Crayola is still the best for skin coloring) I'm proud though that it looks like I uses oil pastels which are actually my favorite medium next to colored pencils.

Just a small update

Well, things have been going great with Kimmy, though she eats up almost all of my free time. She sleeps all through the night already which is nice. Her Daddy will finally be able to see her tomorrow night. She was a ladybug for Halloween, and a cute one at that! Well, I don't get as much time for my artwork as I used to, and I wasn't able to draw much of anything while I was pregnant, so updates will be slow.

Also playing around with a journal skin I found!
